Chief BallardWelcome, from Chief Rod Ballard

Welcome to our Big Bear Lake Fire Protection District’s home page. On behalf of the Fire Board Members and the nearly 40 personnel who proudly serve your needs, we thank you for your interest. This website is designed as a continuing work in progress to provide you with information related to your Fire District’s services and programs with relevant links to other sites.

Our goal for this website is to provide an avenue to share with you about our organization and to provide a mechanism for communication. I encourage you to explore the available pages, use this tool to learn about your fire district, and communicate with us.  Whether your interest is fire suppression, fire prevention, emergency medical services, community wildfire safety, or disaster preparedness, you should find helpful information here.

Thank you for your interest in the Big Bear Lake Fire Protection District. Keeping the Big Bear Lake area fire safe is a task that requires a partnership between the fire district and the members of our community.  We look forward to continuing to grow our partnership with you in the future.

Respectfully,

Rod Ballard
