Captain Ryan Harold
EMS Coordinator
Captain Harold began as a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Big Bear Lake Fire Protection District in 2002 . He was promoted to Captain in 2008. He has an extensive background in EMS, being part of the adjunct faculty for the Riverside Community College since 2000, and the RCC's EMT Coordinator since 2006. Captain Harold has been the EMS Coordinator for the Big Bear Lake Fire Protection District since 2008.
The members of the Big Bear Lake Fire Protection strive to provide exceptional Emergency Medical Service (EMS) to the residents and visitors of our community. Our agency provides Advanced Life Support (ALS) service, and our personnel are trained in the latest advances in emergency medical care. Our EMS personnel function under a progressive set of guidelines set forth by the local EMS agency, and the EMS Coordinator (pictured) is responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the delivery of EMS care within the organization.
