North Shore Elementary SchoolThe Northshore Preschool Pay Big Bear Lake a Visit

Recently, children from North Shore Christian Nursery School came to Big Bear Lake Fire Protection District for a tour of Fire Station 281.  In addition to the tour, the children learned about fire safety, watched a firefighter don and doff fire gear and got to squirt water from a real fire hose.  Pictured here is Firefighter Kelvin McElfish with firefighter-in-the-making Payton Bidwell.

To schedule a group tour at Big Bear Lake Fire Protection District Station 281, please contact Fire Prevention Officer Michelle Caldwell at 909.866.7566, ext. 4.

By following the simple instructions in the Ready! Set! Go! program, residents can help to protect their family and home, and make it easier for firefighters to protect homes when a wildfire threatens a neighborhood. More
