Stachetoberfest Charity Fundraiser Presented by Big Bear Professional Firefighters’ Association
Who has the Saltiest Mustache in town? Come to Stachetoberfest 2017 and vote for the best mustaches grown for fun and a great cause! Big Bear Professional Firefighters’ Association, Local 935, hosts this annual fundraiser on Thursday, October 26, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. Show up and show off your best mustache in the Mustache Contest, or just come for a ton of fun at Big Bear's newest restaurant, Oakside in Big Bear Village.
“This isn’t just for firemen. We would like anyone and everyone from the community to join us in this lighthearted event for a great cause,” according to Bobby Whitmore, Fire Engineer and Big Bear Professional Firefighters’ Association Union Secretary. Tickets are $20 for pre-sale on Eventbrite at http://bit.ly/2w68DOi or $30 at the door. The entry fee buys dinner, a beer and a raffle ticket. All proceeds from the entry fee and raffle ticket sales go to support Soroptimist International of Big Bear Valley's Breast Cancer Prevention program. Every dollar counts when someone’s life depends on it. Big Bear Firefighters’ Association invites the community to help in the battle against breast cancer by donating to and being a part of this worthy cause.
