We are a fast-paced department and have vastly diverse encounters: residential, commercial, and forest fires; ice rescues; traffic collisions; over the side of the mountain rescues; flight transports; and ski resort transports to name a few. We are a high-altitude, four-season resort, surrounded by many miles of hiking terrain in the San Bernardino National Forest, a beautiful lake for fishing and water sports, bicycle/mountain bike riding, snow boarding, snow skiing, star gazing, bird/eagle watching, going to the zoo, golfing, a quaint village, shops, and many restaurants to get a good meal.
