Paid-Call Firefighter Program
Purpose
The purpose of the Paid-Call Firefighter Program is to provide the Fire Department with a highly trained and motivated auxiliary emergency service force. This force assists in the response to natural disasters and rescues. Members also participate in the Department's Fire Safety Education efforts.
Scope of Duties
Paid-Call Firefighters are expected to perform numerous and various tasks associated with fire ground operations, rescue activities, medical emergencies, as well as other support services on scene of emergency operations.
