Sue McIlwain
Administrative Secretary

Sue began working for the Fire District in January, 2002.  Prior to transferring to the Fire District, she worked for the City of Big Bear Lake for 8 years between the Community Development, Planning, and Building & Safety Departments.   
Sue is a member of California Fire Chiefs Association, Administrative Fire Services Section.  This organization provides the opportunity to increase proficiency by offering professional development through educational programs, training classes, and networking with other members statewide.  She has successfully completed the Professional Recognition Program Level 1.
Sue moved to the Big Bear Valley in 1991 and enjoys all four seasons of outdoor activities.
