This last week brought some changes to this Facebook account as well as to our webpage. As a follower, you will now see many of the Valley's incident calls as they go out, minus some personal information.

Incidents being posted are for the benefit of both residents and visitors to keep them updated on what’s happening in Big Bear Valley.

“Level Zero” is a tracking piece that the Fire Department uses that will pop up in the feeds whenever units are depleted and there are no more Department units to to respond, due to emergency call volume. There were “0” units to respond at that time.

Please feel free to contact us with questions or concerns. Thank you for your continued support.

Big Bear High School students were sent an emotional message on May 16th, through "Every 15 Minutes," a realistic presentation of an auto accident resulting from drinking and driving. This event was put on by Arrowhead CHP, San Bernardino County Sheriff's Office, Big Bear Fire Department and San Bernardino County Roads, showing the very heartbreaking consequences of dangerous choices.
