House Sustains Significant Damage
BIG BEAR LAKE, CA/February 9, 2016 – Big Bear Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in the 300 block of Santa Clara Boulevard in Big Bear Lake at approximately 12:45 a.m. onThursday, February 4, 2016. Upon arrival of fire crews, active flames could be seen coming from the rear of the two-story single family residence. Crews were able to suppress the fire quickly, attacking the interior through the front door and rear window. The two occupants of the house were at home at the time and called 911 to report the fire. The occupants were able to evacuate the home and waited for fire personnel to arrive. There were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
